Pusat Ehsan in Bengkurong yesterday welcomed a very special guest - actor-singer Wu Chun.

During the visit, Wu Chun, who is also the Founder of Fitness Zone, presented a B$3,880 cheque, as well as three fitness equipment - a stability ball, a strider and a stepper - to the centre. The money was collected from a fund-raising activity that was held during the opening ceremony of Fitness Zone's new branch in Serusop earlier this year.

Wu Chun said he was deeply moved by the dedication and commitment shown by teachers working at Pusat Ehsan. "They are very passionate in teaching the students," he said.

"We should do our part in (serving) the community," he said, adding that his mother had always encouraged him to do charity work, particularly making donations to the less fortunate and those in need.

He expressed his hope that the new exercise machine at Pusat Ehsan would help in the rehabilitation programmes for students at the centre.

On hand to welcome Wu Chun and his Fitness Zone team was Awang Haji Ahmad bin Haji Abd Rahman, the Policy & Planning Trustee of Pusat Ehsan.
