Ticket sales for F4’s concert in October was so sellable that organisers have added a seventh show, from the initial three shows. The group has also released photo books exclusively for the Japanese market. Jerry Yan has also signed up with Johnny’s Entertainment, one of the biggest management companies in the country.




Fahrenheit

Referred to as the most successful Taiwanese boy band after F4, Fahrenheit consists of four members: Aaron Yan, Wu Chun, Calvin Chen, and Jiro Wang. They released their self-titled debut album, Fahrenheit, in September 2006 while their second album, Two-sided Fahrenheit, was released in January 2008. In November 2007, the group released a limited edition of their first album for the Japanese market.




Zheng Yuan Chang

Joe Cheng’s popularity among Japanese fans has earned him a place as tourism ambassador for Hiroshima. He has also starred in at least two Taiwanese dramas that were based on Japanese mangas: It Started With A Kiss and Honey and Clover, making him more familiar to Japanese audiences.




He Jun Xiang

Known as Mike He outside Taiwan, he started out as a popular model before acting in idol dramas. He took on a guest role in Yukan Club, one of this year’s popular Japanese teen drama. His popularity stems from his lead role in Devil Beside You, that was based on a Japanese manga.
