Wu Chun, a Brunei-born and acclaimed superstar in Asia, has stepped forward to help raise awareness on Earth Hour as well as the benefits of reusable bags and taking part in eco-friendly drives.

Tomorrow, the world will mark Earth Hour and all branches of Fitness Zone will be closed earlier than usual, at 8.30pm. This was revealed by Wu, Fitness Zone owner, during a press conference yesterday in Kiulap.

"We took part last year in Earth Hour. It has always been in my mind to organise more eco-friendly activities and, as I am back (in the country) for a longer period, I want to start by joining the Earth Hour initiative," he said.

When asked about the funds raised for the Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims (Fitness Zone has organised a collection), he replied, "We currently have over $7,000 in the charity drive."
