BRUNEIAN global superstar Wu Chun and NBA basketball player Kobe Bryant played together in an all-star match in Shanghai, China recently for a charity cause.

The match dubbed the Sprite Charity Basketball Game included several celebrities such as Jay Chou and a number of Chinese basketball players who played at the recent Olympic Games in London.

According to the press release from Fitness Zone, of which Wu Chun is the owner, both Kobe and Chun are endorsers for Sprite in USA and Coca-Cola in China respectively. Both Sprite and Coca-Cola belong to the same sister company.

The Sprite Charity Basketball Game in Shanghai had raised about $2.6 millions for charity and about 15,000 crowds turned up at a local Stadium in Shanghai.

This will be Wu Chun and Kobe's second year involvement in the charity match and this year's match saw both of them played together where they won the game 87-82.

Wu Chun said,"It was a very meaningful experience as we have the chance to raise funds for charity and I have the opportunity to play with Kobe for the second time. I just cannot believe that he can actually remember me and he told me that it was great to see me again! I also prepared his USA olympic jersey and he was kind enough to autograph on it and I am going to hang it at the wall of Fitness Zone!"

Chun said,"Kobe only played in the second half so whenever I got the ball, I just passed it to him because it was showtime for him and I know everyone cannot wait to see him showcase his skills and the most enjoying part is the synergy and teamwork that we have created and watching him doing all the high flying slam dunk moves right in front of my eyes!"
