Wu Chun (C) cuts the cake marking Fitness Zone's ninth anniversary.
Fitness Zone yesterday celebrated its ninth anniversary with members at the Kiulap branch.
The event saw 38 members who joined the club within the first month of Fitness Zone's launch in March 2003 being commended for their loyalty and commitment in sharing the club's vision to support the pursuit of good health.
The milestone marked the club's continuing com-mitment and desire to promote a healthy lifestyle and play a key role towards raising awareness on the constituents of good health through the varying modes of exercise regimes, while at the same time pushing gym enthusiasts with newer benchmarks.
Wu Chun, the owner of Fitness Zone said that the club will introduce the Diamond Club Loyalty Programme to reward more than 1,500 loyal members who have been with them for three or more years, whereby they will be able to invite two guests free of charge during specified days of the week.
"We always hope to inspire people in all areas of their life," he added.
Meanwhile Dr Raja, a club enthusiast, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the club's establishment.
"Being a member for so long, I admit I gave a lot of comments along the way and although they didn't give me 100 per cent of what I requested, but most importantly, they listened, and I feel their sincerity and their desire for improvement never failed me from day one," he said.
The anniversary celebration also coincided with the opening of a new Mr Baker's Bakeshop branch conveniently located nearby.
Sharing the same level of ambition as its neighbouring business, Mr Baker's Bakeshop owner Eric said that he looked forward to working together with Fitness Zone in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
In conjunction with the anniversary, members of the public are invited to a 'Welcome Back Hari Raya Open House', which will last for five days.
Fitness Zone currently has branches in Kiulap and Serusop, as well as a branch in Shanghai.
