THE national veteran team will be competing at the 51st Macau International Chinese Invitational basketball Tournament 2012 in Macau.

Organised by the China-Macau Basketball Association, the tournament will be played from September 1-2.

The competition is held to build friendly relationships among international Chinese from overseas.

Besides Brunei, teams vying for top honours include China, Malaysia and hosts Macau.

The team consists of Goh Kim Tian, Khoo Eng Cheong, Soon Kian Long, Goh Kok Ann, Ho Poh San, Lim Kah Hoo, Chua Teck Chee, Ken Kho, Tan Saan Choh, Ong Tze Keu, Lee Huat Beng and Rosli Said.

Playing under the banner of Fitness Zone, they are coached by Khoo Chin Kai and managed by Goh Kiat Chun, who is more popularly known as Wu Chun.

Yesterday also saw the handing over of jerseys by Wu Chun, the Managing Director of Fitness Zone, to the team.
