Wu Chun closely guarded by Media /friend team





WU CHUN, Brunei’s own international star, will start shooting a new film at the end of this month, however details of the new movie are yet to be released.

Following the recent success of Saving General Yang, Wu Chun will head back to work on a new film.

He confirmed this during a basketball friendly game between the Hopes of Hoop team and Media/friends basketball team yesterday.

Wu Chun said, “I still can’t gave details of the new movie, but the shooting of the film will take three months.”


Wu Chun, who is a former Brunei National basketball player, still holds a deep passion for basketball. The Hopes of Hoop basketball team, he said, “is a mix of Fitness Zone and KFC players that came together to promote the game of basketball. The team will play more friendly matches against embassies, the Brunei Basketball team and others, as part of the preparation to compete in next year’s competition”.

The Media/friend team played out a 74-81 defeat to Hopes of Hoop team led by Wu Chun.

Continuing to look formidable on the basketball court, Wu Chun commented about his game by saying, “In the first quarter, I felt a bit stiff and I took myself out of the game to warm up my body. Then I came back in the second quarter for a better performance.”

He also commented on both teams.

“We played quite well with lots of teamwork. While the Media team, I think they have quite a number of good shooters and also have good teamwork. It was a good match up.”
