FOLLOWING the success of Brunei’s first magazine on home improvement and lifestyle, Butra Home Concept (BHC) Magazine by Butra HeidelbergCement, the magazine yesterday reached another milestone with the launching and publication of its first supplementary issue featuring Wu Chun.

The first BHC supplementary which is already out in the market features an exclusive interview with Wu Chun and behind the scenes of the movie, “Saving General Yang”, starring Wu Chun.

The supplement is also a special tribute to the international star for his contribution to the fitness industry in the Sultanate. It is a documentation of the many valuable lessons Wu Chun shared from his latest film and his life as a whole.

The publisher of BHC Magazine, Shaun Hoon felt that it was the right time to produce the supplementary issue after 15 months of publication.

More supplementary issues will be published following the first issue.

Shaun further explained that one of the main reasons for producing the supplementary issue was to enable BHC magazine to cover a wider scope of lifestyle topics beyond home ideas such as travel, hospitality, food and hobbies. A dedicated section on interest is added to enhance the readers’ curiosity as well as interest.

Meanwhile, an interactive interview session with Wu Chun was also held with the sponsors. Shaun Hoon recalled his first contact with Wu Chun, “Last April, I e-mailed Wu Chun to congratulate him on the 10th Anniversary of his Fitness Zone and for being a superstar. I did not think that Wu Chun would have time to respond to my e-mail. However, the next day, I received an invitation e-mail from him to take a closer look at the Fitness Zone facilities.”

Wu Chun who is a fan of BHC Magazine also motivated Shaun to work for a healthy lifestyle. After three months, Wu Chun transformed Shaun to a more energetic and fresh person.

During the interview, Wu Chun said, “Life is very precious. Every minute and second are very precious to me.

“I also don’t like to waste time by sleeping. If I set my heart to do something, I will never give up until I complete my goals.”

Wu Chun also revealed bits of information on his upcoming movie which comprised an ancient setting and storyline packed with action.

Following the interview, Wu Chun presented a month-free subscription of Fitness Zone to the winner of the ‘BHC’s Like and Win’ contest on facebook, Dayang Nurain binti Hj Roslan.

As a token of appreciation, Wu Chun also presented a month-free subscription to Fitness Zone to some of the supporters of the supplementary issue, namely KFC, Mr Baker’s, SPAD Sdn Bhd, Paloma and Magic.

Before concluding the ceremony, Wu Chun signed a poster of the first BHC supplementary issue.

BHC Magazine expressed their gratitude to Wu Chun’s gracious participation in the publication and the sponsors who shared the same vision of the significance of the special tribute as well as the spectacular media opportunities that the supplement brought to the table.
