Local fans will be glad to learn that fateful incidents from Fahrenheit's Fantasy World Tour concert in Hong Kong will not affect the Taiwanese boy band's spirit for their concert here.

Fahrenheit was injured when their fans went havoc as they interacted at the extended stage; Jiro Wang's lips were chapped while Wu Chun's back was hit by a wood. But this will not become a barrier between them and their local fans here.

Calvin Chen says, "I think Singapore fans are disciplined and orderly, so I don't think they will injure us. But anyway, just enjoy the night with us. We will appear very closely in front of you guys, so just enjoy our performance; you can also scream in front of us."

Aaron Yan laughs and says, "Grab us by all means!"

Wu Chun adds a disclaimer, "Fans can grab us, but do not attack our face!"

Fahrenheit Fantasy World Tour sets to bring fans into fantasy land where Fahrenheit will appear in a "different light". Calvin says on the press conference, "We will be re-choreographing some dances and there will be our solos segment. All these are different from those that have been performed publicly previously."

Jiro, who was absent from the recent press conference, "appears" in a pre-recorded one-minute video, explaining that he has been instructed by the doctor to get ample rest is undergoing physiotherapy for his leg injury now. He also assures everyone that he should be able to recover before the Singapore concert and will definitely be in his best form on our local stage. He had injured his kneecap in a filming assignment even before the Hong Kong concert and the injury had aggravated. Concerts in Malaysia and China had been postponed to early next year.

Aaron says each individual has been busy and they have piece up bits of everyone's time for rehearsal to build better chemistry. Despite his injuries, Jiro insists on rehearsing with the rest. "He is a perfectionist! A true blue Virgo. I think the concert has helped us build even stronger chemistry. I believe Jiro will just be away from us for a month; we'll still be able to deliver our best on the concert."

Having been around for three years and released two albums, this is the first world tour for Fahrenheit. It is a milestone and also results of their hard work and persistence.

Wu Chun says, "We've been working at it for three years. Now we're putting what we've learnt on stage and share them with our supporters. We feel a sense of motivation and gratitude to see support from so many people."

Stage design for the Singapore concert will also stretch from the main stage to the back and then rise up just like how it was in Hong Kong. Fans from all over will be able to get up close with Fahrenheit.

At the same time, they will also try to inject new elements into the Singapore concert. With their new album set to release in late December, local fans may be first to get a sneak preview of the album's hit.

Aaron says, "Our album is about to be released and the hit single is quite nice; we are very excited to share it and people will then get a sense of the good songs in our third album. The style of album and songs has to be kept a secret for the moment."

During this promo period in Singapore, Fahrenheit was spotted in hats. Calvin explains, "The four of us have new hairstyles created for the new album, and there is now more room for styling creativity. So we have to put on our secret weapon, not to be exposed yet."

At the Hong Kong concert, they were only given 2 minutes for costumes changing between each act. Calvin and Aaron, who shared one changing room, ended up wearing each other's shoes in the flutter; Wu Chun on the other hand, wore his own shoes on the wrong sides of his legs. However, they are not worried about history repeating itself in Singapore, neither are they too fretful about their vocals condition (except Aaron is said to have the most impressive vocal ability in the quartet.)

Wu Chun feels mistakes are inevitable in live concerts, and being engrossed in the performance is more important. "I think is we are engrossed in our performance, it doesn't matter if we forget the lyrics, sing off tune or make the wrong dance steps; the audience will still be engaged in our performance."

Fahrenheit is most concern about the interactions with the audience and in Wu Chun's opinion, that is also their weakest link. "I think we are some what messy when it comes to that, so we'll be more cautious this time round."

Aaron adds that girl group S.H.E has more experiences in creating concert atmosphere; their performances have instilled higher self-expectations in Fahrenheit."

"I think another good example is Ashin, lead singer of Mayday. He is good at bonding the band and their fans. This is the first time for Fahrenheit and we really have lots to learn from our seniors and the more experienced singers. So we hope that we'll show better chemistry during the Singapore concert," Aaron says.
