The Family Bucket challenge is the first of it's kind in Brunei. In it, participants enter as a team of three (one male adult, one female adult and one minor below the age of 18) and challenge other teams in a shootout within a one minute time limit.
The Family Bucket challenge is an idea brought together by KFC and Wu Chun.
"We came out with the name and Wu Chun came up with the mechanics of the game," says Jonathan Bong, marketing manager of KFC Brunei
The idea of this game is to bring family togetherness.
Wu Chun and Jonathan concluded that "You don't have to be good in basketball to enjoy good family times,".
Participants that join the Family Bucket Challenge will also be given basic training on March 18 at Fitness Zone Kiulap at 2pm.
In the open and student categories of the challenge, members of the public are able to see 30 teams each participating, whereas 20 teams will get to participate in the Family Bucket Challenge.
Organisers of the challenge pointed out that the forms have ran out in some outlets and they hope that interested participants could come back with the entry forms and register themselves at any KFC or Fitness Zone outlets sooner than the closing date of March 20 to avoid disappointment due to limited slots for teams.
