FITNESS Zone (FZ), the number one health club in Brunei celebrated Mothers Day at their Serusop branch on Saturday.

Clients and family members gathered together to celebrate this special occasion dedicated to all mothers around the world.

The event started at 8pm with a surprise appearance by Managing Director Wu Chun. This was then followed by a session called "Search for the Super Mum Award", where participants shared inspirational stories of motherhood with one another.

One member said, "Despite all the sleepless nights and never-ending responsibilities, being a mother is no doubt what I am proudest of in my life."

Special activities were also held for all the mothers in attendance, such as a "Most Photogenic Contest" and a "Best Dressed Contest", as well as a ballroom dancing session with Fitness Zone's professional ballroom dancing instructors.

The food served at the event were all healthy dishes prepared by club members, who shared how the dishes were made, as well as the ingredients used, as guided by Fitness Zone's own registered and licensed nutritionist and dietician.

Healthy baked goods and a 15-pound fruit cake were also rewarded to members, sponsored by Mr Baker's Bakeshop.

According to Wu Chun, a lot of their members regard Fitness Zone as a second home.

"I always tell my staff to treat our members how we would our own family members," said the managing director.
