WU CHUN poured in 22 points to lead Palm Garden to a 75-67 over Flex-Link in their Group C opener of the Mum Bakery Cup at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat.

It was a closely contested matchup with Flex-Link leading 34-32 at halftime.

It was after the interval when Palm Garden made breathing space by outscoring their opponents 23-14 in the third quarter to carry a 55-48 advantage going into the final stanza.

Palm Garden will play their next game against one of the competition's favourites, KFC-MK, on Sunday at 7.15pm.
