Bruneian Wu Chun, who shot to fame in Taiwan after acting in several Taiwanese dramas and joining the boy band Fahrenheit, took time to meet and get together with the special children of Pusat Ehsan in conjunction with his birthday yesterday.
Among the senior members present at the event was the Executive Trustee of Pusat Ehsan Pg Datin Hjh Noraini PDNLDR Pg Hj Abd Momin.
His special appearance at the centre yesterday was to entertain the special people and get up close with them by hosting lunch for the community at Pusat Ehsan. It also served as part of his warm loving ties and social responsibilities towards the special people with hope of bringing them joy particularly during the Hari Raya festivities.
Upon his arrival at the centre, Wu Chun was welcomed by the head of administration Hj Abd Hamid Maaruf and greeted by his anxious special fans. The centre also expressed their appreciation for his concern, interest and generous contribution to the centre.
Wu Chun, who's born to a well-off family here, is also the nephew of a local prominent business figure and a LEGCO member, Pehin Dato Paduka Goh King Chin. He graduated from RMIT University Melbourne in Australia and prior to his venture into the entertainment industry, Wu Chun was a model and fitness trainer.
He becomes one of the most popular artistes in Taiwan and the Chinese regions after he took up the main role in a TV Drama entitled "Hana Kimi" that was a hit in 2006 and has acted in various movies that are no less a hit. His latest drama "Romantic Princess" is a hit among drama fans.
